For merchants, PayByFace provides an opportunity to upgrade their payment solutions with a cardless facial recognition payment processing kiosk. This kiosk is designed to integrate smoothly with most existing POS systems, streamlining the transaction process.

The concept of PayByFace transcends traditional payment methods. The challenges associated with carrying debit and credit cards—such as the risks of loss or theft—are mitigated. The system operates similarly to well-known mobile applications, offering users a straightforward means to settle their purchases.

Once users have established their PayByFace accounts, they can leave behind their phones, cards, and cash. Instead, the proprietary cardless payment kiosk allows them to make transactions at participating locations using facial recognition technology.

In terms of security, PayByFace employs a multi-modal risk-based biometrics approach. This ensures that customer identity is rigorously verified each time a transaction is initiated, providing an additional layer of protection during the purchasing process.
